The first step in most credentialing programs is to register for and complete the Foundations or Christian Foundations course.
All ILCT courses meet the elective requirements for this credential
Please visit the ICF website to see current requirements, which change periodically. Students who are interested in obtaining the ICF’s Associate Certified Coach (ACC) /Level 1 coaching credential must complete:
ICF requires that no more than 50% of coach training hours may be self-directed.
* While mentor coaching may be done through our class, or privately with a qualified ICF credentialed coach, documentation will need to be presented to ILCT before proceeding.
Students who have met the above requirements will submit a recording of their coaching a client of 30 - 45 minutes in length to the Dean of Students, as well as a time-stamped transcript, as part of the review to demonstrate they are coaching at the ACC level.
Students will then earn a Level 1 Certificate of Completion which may be submitted to ICF and qualifies students to sit for the required CKA examination through the ACTP/Level 1 path.
The cost for completing the above is approximately $4,305, and will take about 6 - 8 months.
