MISSION STATEMENT

Since 1998, The Institute for Life Coach Training’s mission has been to provide our students with the best coaching education in support of their dreams to become ethical, competent, and confident coaches. We support the professionalism of coaching through our accreditations and involvement with recognized organizations, preparing our students for potential changes in the field.

Our perception of coaching includes a belief that coaching is a proven means of making this world a better place, for individuals and populations. To that end, we have supported an 8-year program, conducting coaching training within a men’s federal prison; offer discounts for those who are working with faith-based and non-profit organizations, and those who have served our country.

We see justice, diversity, inclusion, and equity as connected to our mission, the tenets of coaching, and as critical to ensuring the well-being of our staff, faculty, students, and the communities we serve.

VISION STATEMENT

Our vision is to not only provide the top coaching education in line with the tenets of the coaching profession, but to support our students’ efforts to use coaching to make this world a better place. As a purpose driven organization, we adopt and believe in the objectives of B Corporations:

• That, through our products, practices, and profits, businesses should aspire to do no harm and benefit all.

• To do so requires that we act with the understanding that we are each dependent upon another and thus responsible for each other and future generations.

We will continue to support and advocate for the professionalization of the field, expanding opportunities for outreach and making a difference, providing excellent, up-to-date, evidence based education for our students.
