Career Development Coaching Specialist

For those individuals interested in becoming certified as a Career Development Coaching Specialist (CDCS), ILCT has developed an 80-hour course of study which will culminate in your being certified to work with individuals in the area of Career Coaching.

Requirements to achieve certification:

• Completion of the Foundations course or Foundations Course for Christian Coaches (40 hours)
• Completion of 14 or more hours of Career specific coaching courses
• Completion of at least 26 hours of additional coach training electives, 70% of which must be chosen from the electives listed on this page.
  

The length of time required to get certified varies depending on your availability and the scheduling of courses. Many of the courses can be taken while you are enrolled in the Foundations course, meaning you could complete your program in approximately 9 months.
