120-hour Board Certified Coach Training

For those who hold a Bachelors’ degree in any field, CCE's 120-hour Board Certified Coach Training program provides extensive training in coaching principles and best practices, core coaching competencies, ethics, and opportunities to customize your training through our extensive elective choices so you can create the practice of your dreams.

Students pursuing this path to the BCC credential will begin by registering for ILCT's Foundational Course, or Foundations class for Christian Coaches and will complete an additional 80 hours of coach training from our wide selection of electives. Suggested electives include ICF Core Competencies and/or Coaching Skills Practicum, and one of our ethics courses.

Those with a master's degree in other social or behavioral sciences will want to choose the 60-hour Board Certified Coach Training program.

Those with a Ph.D., a Master's or higher degree in Counseling, or those who hold a NCC (National Certified Counselor) credential will want to choose the 30-hour Board Certified Coach Training program.

The Institute for Life Coach Training has been qualified by the Center for Credentialing and Education, Inc. (CCE) as a Registered Credential Training Provider, RCTP No. RCTP1005-BCC, to provide training courses qualified for credit for the Board Certified Coach credentials. All ILCT courses qualify for CCE credit unless otherwise indicated. ILCT is solely responsible for all aspects of the training courses.
