Nancy is a coach, counselor and teacher and is passionate about making a difference for people who support and serve others, whether they are coaches, teachers or leaders.
As a career educator, a parent of a child with special needs, and a cancer survivor, she brings a lifetime of personal and professional experience blended with intensive training in coaching methodology to her work with clients.
She has worked extensively coaching the adults who come together in a school system, specifically educators, administrators, support staff, and parents/guardians.
Nancy taught high school and middle school English prior to earning a master’s degree in school counseling. For nearly 30 years, she has counseled middle school students and the adults in their lives. She has done extensive post graduate work in Gestalt theory and practice, and she earned her coaching certification from the Hudson Institute of Coaching in Santa Barbara in 2014, where she was introduced to the work of Marilee Adams, Ph.D. She began learning with the Inquiry Institute, completing the Chief Questions Officer program in 2015. As an authorized trainer Nancy has taught the work of Question Thinking and Learner Living in the world of education for the past six years and has been teaching coaches and leaders with the Inquiry Institute over the past year.
Nancy's strengths include building strong relationships, creating trust, communicating clearly and helping people get to the heart of what's important to them as a clearing to create change.
