Lillian has journeyed along many of those “roads less travelled” which has enabled her to help her clients overcome huge obstacles and turn their challenges into opportunities for success. For many years, Lillian was a teacher for special needs teen-agers. She started a Black Light theater group with her students who gave performances throughout the school board. Additionally, Lillian taught at the university level; lived and worked on a small, self-sustaining farm; wrote and published a vegetarian cookbook.
Lillian's teaching career came to an unexpected end as she gradually lost her eyesight. Shortly thereafter, she enrolled at the Institute for Life Coach Training and became a certified life coach.
Lillian uses a strengths-based, solutions focused approach to guide her clients onto the path that will lead them to their desired destination. She helps them leverage their strengths and existing resources which can lead to lasting, positive change.
Lillian has added to her skill set having taken courses in Positive Psychology Coaching, Appreciative Inquiry Coaching and Solution Focused Coaching. Currently, Lillian is leading courses in Positive Psychology and Happiness at Ryerson University’s G. Raymond Chang School for Continuing Education.
“Lillian is an amazing empathetic sweet and thoughtful instructor. She went out of her way to help us getting the most out of the material.”
“Lillian is very encouraging and positive while being able to offer coaching in a kind and "receivable" way. She used a lot of examples to explain the skills. She also followed up between classes with answers to questions that came up during class and provided extra handouts as needed.”
