Dr. Jim Vuocolo, MCC

Dr. James S. Vuocolo, President of Life Coach Consulting, is a native of Basking Ridge, New Jersey. He was graduated with honors from Bloomfield College and Drew University (with a Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry in Administration/ Practical Theology), and was ordained in the United Church of Christ in 1979. Jim has taught many credit and non-credit courses in coaching, marketing, philosophy, religion, personal growth and career development. He is a former member of the famed Westminster Choir where he sang under the baton of many leading conductors including Lucas Foss, Leonard Bernstein, Eugene Ormandy and Leopold Stokowsky. He has an honorable discharge from service in the N.J. Army National Guard. Since then, he has served pastorates in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Wyoming (where he was also served as Executive Director of ecumenical campus ministries for nine Christian denominations) and Southern California.
Dr. Vuocolo is internationally recognized as a pioneer in the coaching profession. He is a charter member of the International Coach Federation and was among the first group of Master Certified Coaches in the world. He is a Certified Executive Coach with the World Association of Business Coaches, a Certified Life Coach & Mid-Life Strategist focusing on personal and career transition, and a Certified Job Loss Recovery Coach. Jim has trained thousands of coaches internationally since 1996 as a Senior Member of the faculty at CoachU, the Institute for Life Coach Training, and is a Certified Mentor Coach with Coachville, CoachU, and ILCT. He presently serves as Director of Practice Development at ILCT in addition to running his own International coaching, consulting and training business, and is the founder of www.MasterfulMindset.com
As a certified mid-life strategist focusing on personal and career transition, Jim has an authentic passion for assisting coaches to succeed! He has served on the Assessor team at ICF, CoachU and ILCT. He has also taught certification courses in DISC behavioral assessments, and has developed several ICF Accredited advanced courses including Creating A Referral Based Business, Group Coaching & Teleclass Leading, Intro to Career Coaching, and Practice Made Perfect: All You Need to Make Money As A Coach (Life Coach Press, 2003-2007). He has written a variety of eBooks and books including, Wake Up Life the Life You Love Finding Personal Freedom (c.2004) co-authored with Mark Victor Hansen, Deepak Chopra, Dr. Wayne Dyer, and others as part of a best selling series, 21 Secrets for Daily Success! (Life Coach Press, 2007), Practice Made Perfect: All You Need to Make Money As A Coach (Life Coach Press, 2003), and others.
As a full time Coach & Mid-Life Strategist, Jim partners with busy professionals and executives who want to attain greater fulfillment and results in life and in work. He has worked with individuals and groups of business owners, entrepreneurs, sales people, and other professionals in the USA, Canada, England, Italy, Venezuela, and elsewhere who want to take their life and work to the next levels of success. Jim calls what he does “SoulBusiness”(tm), which he defines as “Integrating who you are with what you do to create the life results you want!" Jim currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada together with his wife, Debbie. Their son, Adam, resides in Southern California.
