ILCT is proud to offer a Corporate
and Executive Coaching Track. For nearly a decade ILCT
has provided coach training for health care providers,
which remains the primary focus of our foundational
training. We realize some of our graduates use their
training in small and large business settings. In February
of 2006 we expanded our foundational course program
to provide Leadership Coach Training for coaches who
want to work with corporate clients. We also developed
a Registered Leadership Coach program for corporate
managers, supervisors and other leaders that we will
be provided directly to organizations. Many students
already enjoy several corporate coaching advanced classes.
This Corporate and Executive Coaching Track will structure
several classes and other training opportunities to
provide a special designation in leadership coaching.
Dr. Doug McKinley was selected to
head the Corporate Coaching Services division of ILCT.
He is an alumnus of ILCT and one the ILCT coaches who
found a niche in coaching corporate and non-profit leaders.
He is a core faculty member of ILCT and the Founder
Director of the McKinley Consulting Group. His role
as DCCS is to provide leadership to all executive, business,
and corporate training. Our intention is that ILCT will
provide world-class training for people interested in
working with leaders.

After a very successful pilot
in 2001 with 30 of our students who volunteered
to be coaches to executive with PBS&J, an
international engineering firm, and in 2002,
2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006, we had 40 additional
coaches. Now, for January 2009 we are set for
the ninth year. This class is partially sponsored
by PBS&J which results in lower pricing
to students.
Program Description: Each coach will participate
in regular calls with Dr.
Lillibridge for training in coaching executives using the Peoplemap System
of Coaching, and will also be trained in understanding results of the
following assessments: The Peoplemap, FIRO-B, Meyers-Briggs, and 360
Degree Assessment. Each coach will also have at least one, possibly two,
executives to coach both on personal and professional goals within the
framework set by PBS&J and Dr. Mike Lillibridge, Project Director. Each
participant will receive a 175-page workbook, The Peoplemap System of
Executive Coaching written by Dr. Lillibridge.
Benefits: In addition to gaining six months coaching
experience with a top
level manager, and knowledge of powerful assessments, each coach will
receive 20 credits of coach training in the Executive Coaching Practicum
which will count toward hours needed with the ICF for coach certification
as part of ILCT's certification track
